We-The AI

The human mind is a wonderful thing..It helps a person accomplish wonders single-handedly as well as part of a larger community. He or She can devise multiple ways of achieving a solution to a problem.

The idea of AI however has come up with the thought of self awareness or self-thinking to a computer or a robot..

Mankind has now a lot of jobs at it’s disposal. From cleaning the house to reducing the garbage in the ocean, from cooling a building to reducing green house gas emissions, from making tea to provide nutritious food to the refugees, from writing a program for learning purposes to automating day to day tasks.

With this in mind we have or are in the process of creating multiple solutions to our common tasks such as Driverless Driving, Super Computing, Mini robots for industrial use, Giant robots for industrial use, and so on and so forth..

As thoughts have progresses over designing these tasks, mankind has been finally looking to create AI in the near distant future.

So, what is this AI or Artificial Intelligence..

If you would take my word then Artificial word has to be replaced from the AI term.

The reason being that Intelligence can simply not be artificial, because an Artificial intelligence concept is not of being self-aware. Always the intelligence which is artificial such as Voice assistants we are now familiar with such as Siri, no matter how life-like it might look it is just another program coded to behave in a way that is consistent with the program, it is needed to write in the Siri’s program the answer to the question of ‘What is Love?’, only then it can answer, it cannot think and answer…. So most importantly it cannot think..

Let’s look at another brilliant example of that of the AlphaGo AI created by Google..The AI there learns from millions of human made moves and creates its own strategy..This is as close as we have got so far with AI..Creating its own strategy and moves without  external programming or external input..to create a MOVE and it is crushing it…

The Real AI will be which when it will be able to talk to us by thinking on its own, hooked up to the internet cloud for data to help us and talk to us emotionally, logically, informatively and on an equal level to human terms…

To design this real AI , we need to make it learn the collective database of humans depending on the specificity on which it is created. It has to be taught to be better in thinking towards the “good” way and not learn from our mistakes. All I'm saying is that the argument it will make should be carefully devised..

But still can it think on its own, recent experiments by Google on the driverless car shows that after learning the human moves in its area the Car can think at an advanced level so much so that it is not clear to the human mind or its human programming master how it is thinking. In my view that is the birth of AI, and if we have carefully enough designed it to think on the pattern of not coming up with an accident then probably we should learn to trust the AI the self-driving car and make it to continue on its path and see where it goes, because only when it reaches in its final stages will it be clear what logic it has arrived.. Otherwise reading a half made puzzle without the remaining pieces in order to study how the AI in this case is thinking would be a waste of time and hamper the productivity..if we just monitor and let it complete we may be able to arrive at a juncture where the machine or the AI will tell us how has it been thinking.. That is the final juncture in the AI from where we can become the drivers of it and create it at an even more advanced level..

Because the truth is that only when the AI reaches in its final stages will  be able to learn what it has to say and how it thinks and then we can program it, like a complex equation, what the equation is trying to say to us is revealed only when we  complete the Equation…

Also, finally the idea of this AI is looking at in the way like the AI is our own collective conscience, since the AI when final has learnt from us to think, in ideal way it should reflect how we think, speak and express ourselves to the tiniest detail and even in a better way than us.., so because the AI is us, it is the WE in the making as part of our collective conscience..

Imagine the Millionth version of Siri where it can talk to us from our tablets, laptops or mobile or any other device for that matter and is able to talk to us and guide us in case of emergency, where it can take part in leader conferences, even being an entity at the UN, who can teach us to get out of depression, even suggest us better ways of living of fighting the age old problems of war, famine and poverty or lecture us via self-learning..

Again., the potential is huge for the applications for the AI..

So are we ready to trust it and let it function to its final core where we can come up face to face with itself..no matter to this, the AI is going to be build in the near distant future, just look at internet as an example, in just a couple of decades look where it has reached and how much it has helped us to become digital.. the same way the AI, the WE part of the human anthem is going to come soon and help us in all the possible ways possible…,.
