The Answer Lies Within

I was sitting in the Bengaluru International Airport at the boarding gate patiently waiting for my flight to go home for Diwali. Well, not exactly patiently, I have this habit of observing people and sounds through their expressions and actions and notice the flow of the sound with my own deductions. And I'll say, my deduction level is pretty basic. But hey, I'm improving.

I was listening just to the sounds and the humdrum of the passengers and trying to make a story out of their actions. When suddenly, I was overwhelmed with a strong sense of amazement within. The reflection of the sounds produced in my own mind was most enjoyable and was like a childhood memory.I didn't wanted to speak of it or analyze it but just be in it.

As I sat there, it was as if I had been commanded, you are a part of it too! Don't try to look inside from the outside, move along, along with them(people).

It struck me then that the answer lies within. For everyone, for the objective and visionary mind of a world leader trying to build a nation, or the problem solving and nurturing mind of a teacher, or for the soul stuck in making decisions about his/her life the answer is inside each of them.

We search the entire world and the monumental knowledge ocean to make many theories and assumptions to arrive at a logical and scientific deduction for a particular problem in order to find a solution. While we are looking outside for an idea we often miss to look inside towards the vast and undiscovered world within.

What I'm trying to say that all this monumental knowledge ocean gives us light but nevertheless the real light comes from you. Think about it, who wrote all this, who discovered all that we know. From the primitive society to modern ages the learning and discovery motion has been continuous. When we didn't know much about the world or how to survive instincts guided us. Slowly, as we gained more knowledge we became more and more precise and guided ourselves. The problem arises due to the misinterpretation of the facts and this knowledge itself. The conflict of interest can be easily solved through understanding and love. 

But that is not often the case and we have issues and oppression and wars. The answer still lies within. If we just back off for a minute or two to gaze ourselves from the outside. If we just try to listen to what the other person really wants and throw away all our prejudices and assumptions and notorious deductions we will soon discover something inside of us. We shall see that the real thing we are looking is for the betterment of the people, of oneself, ones family, community, society or country.

Leaving the few psychotic minds whose only objective is to watch the world burn, the majority will try to find a solution from the strength that they gained by looking inside each ones soul which will be acceptable to all and it is possible.

That vast world that lies within us, has the capacity to amaze and give us the power to bring about change. Great people and visionaries have already done it. It is due time that we stop to think ourselves as the weak humans with all the power with God. His part lives in all of us. Time to channel that energy and work for a good cause.
